What better way to brighten someone’s day than with colorful blossoms and a wee bit of bling? It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.

This week the fabulous Jaydee is hosting our monthly color challenge. I love the quartet of colors she selected for us. Coral, Pink, Green and Yellow speak to this floral lover’s heart. However, these colors are so versatile and go beyond the realm of flowers. I can’t wait to see what YOU create. The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

I took a journey to the “Island of Cast-off Card Parts” for today’s card. The sentiment (Fragrant Layers stamp set), the embossed background (Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder – retired) and the rectangle of circles die cut (Lovely Arrangements dies) greeted me upon arrival and were exactly what I needed. Talk about a time saver! I am sure all of us stampers have bits and pieces that didn’t quite work out for other cards tucked away somewhere. I have TONS of them. It always makes me happy when I can use one or two of those pieces. All that remained was to stamp a bouquet of blooms, color them and die cut them out. These beauties were created using the Boutique Blossoms bundle and colored using Barely Blush, Bubble Bath, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Rhinestones added a bit of sparkle.

Nueve’s Notes

Hey, everyone! It’s me, Nueve. Many of you asked Mom how I have been doing after my surgery to get rid of my Boxer bumps. Guess what! I didn’t have it. Mom and Dad were giving me a bath the day before I was supposed to go to Dr. Rita and I had some problems. I won’t go into details, ’cause it’s not polite to talk about those things. But it was bad. Dr. Rita ran a whole bunch of tests with my blood and both of my potties, and then she took pictures of my insides. She said a special gland called a “prostate” was bigger than it should be and was putting pressure on parts it shouldn’t be. Dr. Rita said I had “prostatitis” and “benign prostate hyperplasia”. She put me on TWO different kinds of medicine to help with my prostatitis and to help make my prostrate the right size again.

I just had my ten-day follow-up and my tests are showing an improvement. I feel better! All of my friends say there is a sparkle in my eyes again. My mom notices the difference, too.

I’m back to playing with Uncle Q and Sixxy.

Mom feels bad because she didn’t realize I just wasn’t myself. But it is not her fault. I didn’t show any symptoms until the day before the surgery.

I am doing my best to get better. Being healthy and feeling good is part of my job. I am a Working Dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!
