Sorry for the late notice, but sometimes I do not sense the current until we get closer to an event. Tonight’s New Moon session will be focused on rewiring the Solar Plexus chakra. Many people don’t realize that our chakras are also in a process of shifting as we transition out of Duality. Most of us have adapted our chakras to live within Duality and its inherent way of getting our needs and wants met by focusing externally. Now, the chakras are beginning to restructure as we bring more of our Light into our living experience.

The restructuring begins to allow our nature to not just be more whole and present, but also less vulnerable to the effects of still living within a largely unconscious humanity. We begin to open a capacity for generating a new conscious operating system that is not affected by, and does not interact with, the old reality. It’s rather like the old programs cannot function within it. In other words, we can start to be here without feeling so influenced by a world many still see as real.

Tonight we will be focused in particular within the shift sequence of the Solar Plexus and any other places that are interconnected or holding the old structures in place. You can join us in person, by phone or by internet stream.

The American Craft Council public retail show in St. Paul starts tomorrow, Friday April 20th, and runs through Sunday (for details follow the link at the bottom of this article). If you are planning to attend and are interested in trying on Art to Wear, here are some tips from an experienced Art Fair groupie….

1. Wear a neutral in your element, especially on top. I wear the same color top and bottom or a foundation piece like a black fitted top and jeans (I’m Earth…Fire could wear a brown basic, Air navy blue and Water dark gray or dark muted brown). Also wear a jacket or sweater that is easy to take off and put back on so you can try on with efficiency! You want the art piece or jewelry to be featured without competition from pattern or dominating colors….

2. This is not a time for wearing fashion footwear unless they are the most comfortable shoes you own! Go with comfort and support….at most fairs you are on your feet for several hours and you’ll thank your shoes if they cushion your body and spine.

3. Get artist cards at the places you really like and write down the booth number if you wish to return. Know that if you love it and wait, it may not be there if you go back later. Purchase, if possible, in the moment in which you “connect” or you may have buyers remorse. Remember if you get one piece that you “love” in your element, you can wear it forever!

4. Bring your fan along to check if something is in your element.

5. There are usually an abundance of scarves at reasonable prices….look through your wardrobe before you go and note which things need to be tied together with an accessory such as a scarf. Either clip a small fragment of the material from the seams if possible, or use colored pencils to color the tones into a notebook you carry with you.

6. Have fun and let your creative juices get inspired!

Just wanted you all to know that this weekend is LaRue’s Recycle Sale…..Friday through Monday. It is an opportunity to get gently used upscale clothes at really good prices! Also a heads up for the American Craft Council‘s  juried art show in downtown St. Paul at the X-cel Energy Center next weekend, April 20-22. You may not have the funds to buy the beauty, but I find it fun to try on and have someone snap a picture of favorites…There is alot more than clothing….art for home, garden, gifts, etc. and a range of prices.

It may look like just another website, but designer/creator/magician Suzanne Ahjira has installed a powerful engine under the hood of Lightsmith 2.0. Many features are designed to improve basic functionality, others save time, and some are just plain cool.

For example, the two main lists on the home page automatically update themselves when a new post is made or an event date passes. Whenever you view the home page you will quickly see the last 5 posts and the next 5 scheduled events, always current to the moment. You just click on any listing to see the full entry.

You also won’t immediately notice how this site works with mobile devices. Try us out on your smartphone or tablet and you’ll see what I mean. Don’t have one? Then just play with your browser window to see the effect. Start widescreen on our main page and then slowly narrow the window and watch what happens. Everything rearranges to fit the size and stays readable, even on a small screen. This is pure genius, and we are pleased to showcase this caliber of cutting-edge web design.

What else is new? Built right into our shop pages is a player for you to sample the recordings we have available. Try it out on our latest channeling by Vivienne, the Lady of the Lake. There is also a feature totally unique to our site which is connected to the Lightsmith Monthly Downloads. We’re still tidying up a few details about that service and I’ll say more in the next announcement update.

Feels like several lives have passed since I last sketched out a comment, not that I haven’t thought about it, but moving into action seemed like more than my mood could handle. The non-stop activity and emotional riptide of last year left us all a little stunned as we pitched our way into 2012, grateful for at least a few weeks of respite in January. The events of 2011 were intense, but at least the memory of them has quickly gone misty thanks to that ‘being in the now’ thing.

During that last, long sweep we released an abundance of invisible yet significant debris, the leftovers of adaptations made to survive our long painful experience in the old reality. Like recovering hoarders we chose what really has value and dumped the unnecessary into the big recycle bin. Tossed were our worn collections of beliefs, traumas, conditioned patterns and other moldy survival mechanisms acquired during the pounding reign of Duality. What relief to finally set ourselves free from the countless burdens of repression and inescapable influence of the great karmic wheel. That was some ride, eh, wot?

The Earth Mother informed us early in January that this year is about the physical level (including hers), so I’d be surprised if you aren’t in the midst of dealing with something in your body. Many of us have felt the promptings to clean up our diets, or at least become more conscious about food choices, while others have embraced more exercise or other activities. Needing more sleep is also on the growing list of symptoms, giving the body ample opportunity to do its work. Other issues on the physical level may be surfacing for attention in their own sequence, all part of restoring in our manifest experience what has been healing on the deeper, causal levels. We are already well into this phase, so even though it doesn’t use words your body will be talking to you. As I’ve been learning myself, we’re going to be keeping our wellness support-people busy.

On another tack, a couple weeks ago I noticed some new experiences move through like ‘blips’ in consciousness. The moment is very subtle, but simultaneously profound and difficult to wrap up in words. It’s something like that TV special effect where somebody moves through the stargate and reality ripples around them. Perhaps in a previous healing process you came to understand a family dynamic, then yesterday you were just sitting there and suddenly related fully to the deeper nuances of the whys and whatfors. It’s as though what once seemed a firm mental understanding suddenly is perceived across all levels as something more substantial, like awareness opened up another notch from the theoretical to the experiential. Like I said, it’s hard to articulate, kind of like trying to explain the experience of deja vu. But, thanks for listening :)

So now, while physical issues continue to poke at us, March madness brings a little more difficulty in focusing and some kind of on-going dissolution, showing itself through plans that dissipate or rearrange almost as fast as they get made. Over the past week I have found myself bouncing from task to task, seemingly without completion, and whatever push of motivation exists is undefined and fleeting. Yet, the days fill with activity and life continues to reveal what’s next. And, for entertainment, the seemingly endless political theater warms my heart as I watch the old story trying mightily to prolong its existence while continually impaling itself on its own sword. Okay, I admit it, I do occasionally derive satisfaction from that.​

One last thing: As I write this update another major solar flare from an X5 eruption is headed our way and expected to hit the earth’s magnetic field sometime tomorrow. And don’t forget the full moon. Yay, even more discombobulation and insomnia is headed our way.

Saturday was a most curious day. All our plans changed, suddenly leaving us with a free weekend and no pre-determined structure. Michele and I have experienced other waves that move through like this, but it is still disorienting when it happens. It’s as if consciousness is doing some rearranging and nothing is setting up as usual or as expected. On Sunday I was in full ADD mode, starting one project, moving on to another, scrounging for something to eat, heading to Menard’s for parts, poking around the new Lightsmith site in progress, and generally feeling scattered without clear focus.

And today (Monday) I still am stumbling about kinda dazed and foggy, like waiting for some veil to be lifted. At least I’m still upright.
