How are your celebrating the Fourth of July this summer? In case you haven’t heard, the city of Sugar Land is presenting the Star Spangled Celebration at Constellation Field.

Constellation Field, minutes from your Sugar Land apartment, is a new venue that will host a new Fourth of July celebration. This honored holiday tradition is a family oriented event. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.

You and your family will be dazzled and entertained by the innovative multimedia show and the energetic fireworks display. It’s a presentation that will surely capture your imagination.

The celebration will include patriotic music played along the concourse of the stadium. You’re encouraged to bring blankets to lay out on the outfield so you and your family can comfortably enjoy the fireworks and the entertainment from both stages. The finale will surprise you as new entertainment elements were designed to complement the stadium’s atmosphere.

A Fusion of India and Italy: Bombay Pizza Co. in Sugar Land

The Bombay Pizza Co. boasts some of the best Indian-style pizza found around your Sugar Land luxury apartment community.

Are you looking for a unique dining experience? Bombay Pizza Co. combines Indian and Italian food. Located near your Sugar Land apartment, the pizzeria opened in 2009 and features traditional Italian cuisine combined with Indian spices.

They offer a variety of specialty pizzas, such as the Slumdog, featuring grilled chicken, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Jalapeño peppers, Chorizo and mozzarella with their homemade sauce. Half of their pizzas are vegetarian like the Saag Paneer with Indian spiced spinach, cubed Paneer and collard greens with a three-cheese blend of mozzarella, fontina and goat cheese. Alternatively, you may also build your own custom pizza.

In addition to pizza, they also serve miniature beef and vegetarian burgers served with regular or sweet potato fries. They also offer Indian or Naan rolls stuffed with blackened chicken or vegetarian with garbanzo beans, sweet potatoes and spinach with a cool yogurt dipping sauce.

Sugar Land Superstar is Back! Watch Talented Singers Perform 7/13

Sugar Land Superstar is back, and it’s bringing a wave of incredible local performances with it!

Looking for a welcoming gathering place for fun and exciting musical performances? Sugar Land Town Square is just the place!

Only 10 minutes away from your Sugar Land apartment, the Sugar Land Town Square is an energetic plaza where you can dance, see uplifting cinema and see and hear outstanding musical performances. The Town Square is proud to welcome back the Sugar Land Superstar talent showcase.

Now in its eighth summer season, the Sugar Land Superstar showcases the best of up-and-coming singers. On July 13 at 7 p.m., in a talent show type competition, the brightest and most talented singers will perform and compete to be one of the five finalist to compete on Aug. 10.

So bring your most comfy outdoor chair to the plaza and prepare yourself to be completely entertained. As a bonus, a previous Superstar contestant will get the music started at 7 p.m. This is definitely a family-friendly event you’ll remember for years to come.

Tackle This Easy Chevron Art Project at Your Sugar Land Apartment

Here are some great tips to help you create the perfect stencil art for your Sugar Land luxury apartment.

Are you looking to add a splash of color to your bedroom at our apartments in Sugar Land? By following a few easy steps, you can create a cute chevron art piece that will brighten up the wall in under an hour.

Buy or download a chevron stencil.
Trace the stencil pattern onto a white canvas using a pencil. You might need to line it up and trace it again to fill the entire canvas.
Use painter’s tape over your penciled stencil pattern so that the paint doesn’t seep in. Adjust it carefully and smoothly so there are no gaps.
Choose a paint color and put some in a shallow container. Carefully brush over the canvas with an angled brush. Go over it with a paint sponge to make the lines look smoother. Repeat these steps until no white space is left.
Remove your painters tape. Touch up any spots if needed, and outline the tracing again. Let your painting dry for at least two hours before you hang it.

Our Sugarland apartments provide our residents plenty of opportunities to exercise outdoors with a resort-style swimming pool and a sand volleyball court, but if you prefer exercising indoors, check out our Sugar Land apartments’ gym.

The 2000-square foot fitness center is complimentary to all residents and may remind you of a resort-style fitness center. It’s open 24 hours daily for your convenience, and it features the best Nautilus weight machines to strengthen your upper body.

In addition, the gym has added even more elliptical and stair steppers to their cardio machine collection. The gym has also added two large-screen televisions and a water bottle service to make your workout even more enjoyable.

As you work out, keep a few tips in mind:

Exercise for at least two hours and thirty minutes weekly, with two days set aside for strength training.
Vary your routine. If you use the stepper one day, consider tackling an exercise class or swimming another day.
Avoid being inactive, even a quick 20 minutes of exercise is better than none.
