If you’ve been wondering where I disappeared to… buckle up! This past month has been a full‑on adventure: downsizing to a 1500 sq ft home, sailing the Alaska seas on the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip (achieved by less than 1% of demonstrators), hosting a hugely successful retired stamp sale, selling our former house in just two days, and wrapping it all up with a craft retreat last weekend. You can see why my creative rhythm took a little pause.

The good news? We’re mostly unpacked, my new stamp/office space is taking shape and finding it’s groove, and life is finally calming down. But of course – we’re approaching the 4th of July weekend that we’ll spend with our family at our cabin for a long weekend. After that…I’m excited to re‑engage with my Stampin’ Up! business and start sharing my creativity with you again!

🍂 Onto the Project: Simply Leaves Sneak Peek

Today’s card is a sneak peek featuring the upcoming July 2026 Online Exclusives Simply Leaves Bundle (stamp + punch). The moment I saw this bundle, I knew it would be a favorite. I’m always drawn to leaves… probably because fall is my favorite season, and I can never resist those rich, cozy autumn colors. It’s simple, elegant, and a perfect way to show off this new bundle. I think you’re going to love it.

For this card, I paired the bundle with a fun technique: the Faux Tearing Technique. It creates that beautiful torn‑edge look without actually tearing the cardstock—just ink, a torn mask, and a little creative magic. The Simply Leaves images layer so nicely with this technique, giving the card a warm, cozy, textured feel that hints at crisp fall days.

💡DOstamping Tips for Faux Tearing Technique:

• Prepare a “mask” using copy paper:
  • Tear 2-1/8” x 5-1/2” piece of copy paper in half along the long edge.
  • Flip one of the torn pieces
  • Place both pieces onto 4″ x 5-1/4″ white panel with flat edges against the top and bottom (use sticky notes to secure to stamping surface).
• Sponge & Stamp:
  • Use a blending brush to add color around the masked edges and panel sides.
  • Stamp leaves as follows:
    • Large leaf = Crumb Cake
    • Gingham leaf = Cajun Craze
    • Small leaf = Pecan Pie
  • Remove masks to reveal your torn edge masterpiece. Adhere to folded card base.
