Three Glow of Harvest Cards – August Product of the Month

Today’s blog post is all about three warm, cozy, end‑of‑summer cards featuring the Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper — Stampin’ Up!’s August 2026 Product of the Month. This paper is stunning: soft florals, rustic textures, and a gentle autumn glow that makes every project feel like golden hour.

To elevate each design, I paired the DSP with the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies and Sweet Words & Labels Dies, plus a few sneak‑peek goodies coming September 1. You’ll spot them in the details — new textures, hints of copper and those little finishing touches that make a card feel extra special.

First – Let’s Talk Hot Foil

Before I get to the cards, I want to take a moment to talk about Hot Foil — because all three of today’s projects feature it beautifully. I used the Stampin’ Up! Hot Foil System, Copper Foil, and the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies.

What I LOVE about the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies is its efficiency and versatility. You get 11 sentiments with one single swipe of the die. With a 4″ x 5″ sheet of Copper Foil & Basic Beige cardstock, and one pass… suddenly you have a whole stack of polished, foiled greetings ready to go. It’s a game‑changer for batch cardmaking, product prep, and anyone who loves having sentiments on hand without interrupting their creative flow.

And the Copper Foil – coming September 1 — it pairs perfectly with the warm tones of the Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper. The combination gives each card a soft autumn shimmer — not too bright, not too bold, just that cozy glow that feels like late‑August sunshine.

Onto the Cards!

Card 1: Happy Birthday Glow

This card layers warm neutrals with a soft floral cutout from Glow of Harvest – using the Sweet Words & Labels Dies, The hot foil sentiment adds a crisp, polished finish. A pair of die‑cut leaves and a twine wrap bring in that early‑fall charm.

NOTE: use the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil sentiments on all three cards.

- Basic Beige (3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″, 3-1/4″ x 4″ add texture with embossing folder, 4″ x 5″ for hot foil sentiment die cutting)
- Cajun Craze & Golden Glow (scraps for leaf die cuts – from Sweet Words & Labels)
- POM – Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper (scrap for 2-3/8″ x 3-1/8″ Sweet Words & Labels die cut)
- Copper Foil (coming 9/1/2026) – (4″ x 5″ for hot foil sentiment die cutting)

Card 2: Easy Triptych Card

This card highlights the Glow of Harvest DSP beautifully with three Rounded Rectangle Punch panels arranged in a tidy trio (triptych). The muted florals shine here, and the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies make the sentiment feel heartfelt and intentional. A simple twine bow finishes the look with gentle texture.

TIP: Swipe Pecan Pie ink over Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder (top half), then add 1-3/4″ x 4-1/8″ piece of Basic White before running through die cut machine.

Today I’m sharing a simple but oh‑so‑cute card featuring the Velvet Meadow Suite — a suite that’s quickly becoming one of my go‑to favorites for soft florals and easy layering. And tucked inside this project is a fun sneak peek: the Advent Labels Punch (168398), arriving September 1, 2026.

The star of the card is the Velvet Texture!

One of my favorite things about the Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper is how it practically pulls you closer. The watercolor florals feel soft and hand‑painted, and when you pair them with the Velveteen Assortment Specialty Paper, the whole card becomes a little sensory experience.
Those velveteen die‑cut flowers and stems aren’t just pretty — they’re touchable.
