Please continue to pray for Chris, my wife. I covet your prayers for her and I know that Chris does too. Chris is on a new medicine for her fibro. The old one stopped working several months ago. The new med has bad side effects which Chris has tolerated so far, and, PRAISE GOD, she has had a few good days where her pain levels were lowered slightly. However,for the last week or so, Chris is really hurting quite badly. She is really suffering and she is such a trooper trying to smile thru it all, even though she can hardly move or even walk at times.. Please ask GOD with me, that He has tender mercy on her and will allow the new med to kick into high gear and bring her out of this severe fibro attack, and lower her pain levels to background noise. Michelle and her husband are non-practicing Catholics. They know that Mike and I belong to a church that faithfully believes in the power of prayer. She just called me at work to ask if my church would pray for her sister, Lisa. Lisa has been quite ill for some time and it appears that her health is deteriorating quickly. I don't know the details, but she is in ICU. Michelle was very upset as she spoke to me and all I could understand is that the doctors are not giving much hope for Lisa and that her brain is hemorrhaging. Please pray for a miracle. Also for Lisa's salvation and for God's will to be done. Pray also for Michelle and Craig, that God will give them the strength and courage to get through this. There is a donor and surgery is scheduled for Nov.25th. This process will take a year of seclusion, chemotherapy and radiation. Her family has been told that there is "a valley" when nausea, and ulcers could happen throughout her digestive tract post-operatively.. She will only be able to be seen by parents and grandparents. This is a huge mountain to climb and I have no idea how strong their faith is. Devine is very fragile emotionally as well. Please join me in prayer that this family will be strengthened and supported by the Holy Spirit who gives a peace that passes all understanding. Pray for the surgeons and medical staff that they have compassion and godly wisdom and pray that God's healing hand will touch this little hand while protecting her from viruses that could take her life.

  • We have an IEP meeting at 2pm Monday w/new therapists at Miller Elementary. Nate had been receiving one on one therapy and I had been allowed to observe all of his therapies. The school district no longer wants me to observe and is questioning his need for one on one therapy. Please pray for us to trust in God and allow HIM to do battle for Nate. We are trusting God to either heal Nate so that he can talk, win our appeals to private insurance to get him private speech, or provide committed professional therapists within the school district.
  • Secondly, Sam has become completely insulin dependent and the school district is impeding the process of implementing a 504 c for his protection at school. This is standard for Type 1 diabetics, and the ADA and his doctors want him to have it.
  • Pray that the Lord would go before us to be our ADVOCATE for Sam and Nate. This is a David and Goliath situation, and I pray for the LORD to give us the little stone we need to bring down the giant. We really need your prayers. Thanks, Colleen

  • I asked for prayer for a friend named Linda last week regarding her thyroid levels to go down. She received test results today that said that nothing has changed "yet". Her doctor said they would wait one more month and do the test again. We are believing the Lord for her Thyroxine levels to go down from 2.51 to the 0.82-1.77 level, so that they do not have to redo the procedure to destroy her Thyroid.
  • Please pray for a man who is owed a lot of money from certain people. Pray that the money would be released to him that he might continue to be a blessing to others as he has been in the past. Thank you.
  • Praise the Lord, baby Matthew now weighs 4 lbs. and will be released from the hospital next Thursday. Thank you for all who have prayed. Please continue to as he grows bigger and stronger. If anyone knows of a infant car seat that Alicia can borrow for about 3 weeks until she gets hers, please let me know. Thank you. Susan #705-5683

The prayers were much needed and without a doubt saved Avery's life yesterday. Here's why. Yesterday afternoon before her surgery Avery had an IV put in. Well, the tubing had about 5-6 inches worth of air in the tube. Avery was seconds away from this air going into her veins when the nurse assisting saw the air and stopped everything, unplugged the port and pushed the air out by running the IV until the fluids ran clean of air. Had that air entered Avery's body it would have eventually traveled to her brain and killed her. Per Dr. Jacobs, Avery did great during surgery. The surgery was extensive. Avery Sat's are not as high as they expected. A chest x-ray showed part of her lung collapsed. They are monitoring this and her Sat's should rise to normal indicating her lungs have filled out. When we saw Avery she was pretty sedated and was resting comfortably. Dave and I were surprised that every time we talked... our baby opened her eyes and looked at us. We love all of you and can't thank you enough. Because of you, we have our daughter today. Love, Sherrie, David, and Avery too!
