Blackman wide receiver Trey Knox has narrowed down his college options to six schools with Tennessee and Vanderbilt included in the list.

However, it's not the 6-foot-4, 206-pound junior's current favorite.

That is reserved for Ohio State.

Knox said recently that his top choices are Ohio State, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Louisville and Vanderbilt.

Knox is listed as the No. 1 prospect in the state in the 247Sports Composite for the Class of 2019. The four-star prospect is the No. 15 receiver in the country.

Blackman teammate Master Teague, a three-star prospect and 11th top prospect in Tennessee for the 247Sports Composite for the Class of 2018, has already committed to Ohio State.

Knox said Teague has tried to persuade him to commit early.

"I've been like, 'Hey man, why haven't you pulled the plug yet,' Teague said. "I already did it. He's just taking his time. He's still young.

"That would be awesome (if he went there). Get somebody I played high school with. I would get another few years with him. That would be cool."

Knox said he and Teague have spoken often about possibly playing together in college.

"We've had a bunch of conversations just about how we could continue this," Knox said.
